1. SPRING HAS ARRIVED
Welcome to the Spring 2007 issue of DeLaney’s Rafter 4D Ranch
newsletter. Spring has arrived and brought with it hummingbirds,
wildflowers and beautiful green fields beautifully decorated with
new calves nursing from their proud mothers. We look forward to
nurturing them, watching them grow and turning into genetic
leaders. At the Rafter 4D Ranch, we are changing too, come look at
our progress and our program. Contact James DeLaney at
972.867.6166 to set up an appointment.
2. CROSS TIMBERS CLASSIC
Saturday, March 31, 2007, is the Cross Timbers Classic Joint
Production Sale located on IH 35S, at West, Texas. 45 plus head to
sell, breeding age bulls, open heifers, bred females and 3 in 1
packages! West is located between Hillsboro & Waco. DeLaney’s
Rafter 4D Ranch will be taking two magnificent bulls to the auction.
Come join us on Saturday at 1pm in the West Sale Barn. For more
information contact the Texas Polled Hereford Association at 254-
687-2898.
3. GOING SOMEWHERE?
If you are like me, you are in the middle of planning your summer
holiday. Where should we go and how long should we stay are
questions that we all find ourselves asking. More importantly, how
much will it cost? That’s why we made a travel page just for you.
Whether you are going to the Alamo or Antarctica, we have
everything that you will need to reserve and purchase hotels,
flights and rental cars! Don’t forget your travel guide!
4. WE CARE ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
We want to let you know that we care about the community. Last
weekend we helped the Lamkin United Methodist Church raise
over $800.00 in a community yard sale. This weekend, we are
doing it again. Join us on Saturday, March 31, 9am – 2pm, Lamkin
Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall. We have antiques, dining chairs,
linens, designer clothes, collectables, books, dishes, BBQ grill,
televisions, glassware and more! Stop by and do your part to help
the community.
